Clinton Trail Animal Hospital is a privately-owned, fast paced, small animal Vet Clinic in Jackson, Michigan committed to providing quality healthcare to our community. Our veterinarians work directly with our LVT, along with support from our assistants, to meet the needs of our clients and patients. On site we have digital x-rays, ultra sound, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory. We also offer holistic approaches that include laser therapy and supplements.

Veterinary Technician
At Clinton Trail Animal Hospital our Licensed Veterinary Technicians work directly with our Veterinarians and Assistants to provide quality healthcare to our clients and patients.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Check-in procedures, such as weight checks, temperature readings, and discussing client concerns
• Complete radiographs and collect urine, blood, and stool samples 
• Place IV catheters and administer fluids and medications 
• Provide kennel support, such as nursing care for in-house patients 
• Run anesthesia induction and maintenance for surgeries
  
• Perform Dental cleanings

Required Qualifications

• State of Michigan Veterinary Technician License

Skills and Basic Qualifications 

• Scholastic and On-the-job training 
• Work collaboratively with co-workers 
• Communicate effectively with clients 
• Flexible response to fast paced working environment

Rate of pay will be commensurate with experience. Benefits will be discussed at time of hire. Consideration for Full Time or Part Time employment.

Veterinarian
​At Clinton Trail Animal Hospital our Veterinarians work directly with our Veterinary Assistants to provide quality healthcare to our clients and patients.
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems
• Treat and dress wounds
• Treat and vaccinate against diseases
• Advise owners on general care, medical conditions, and treatments
• Prescribe medications
• Perform general surgeries

Required Qualifications

• State of Michigan Veterinarian License
